Well, we got together when we met in Year 7 at Ballina High. Geoff Slingsby was playing drums while Ben Whiting and Bill Donaldson were cousins and had been playing guitar together. We found we like the same sort of music like Blink 182 and Sum 41 so we started practicing at school and then at Geoff’s place. We entered a few competitions and got places in them. In year 8 we won first place in Ashtons High School Rock in Brisbane against about 60 other school bands.
Classically trained in her early years, Callee packed her bags equipped with only her progressive piano skills, leaving behind her close friends Mozart and Bach, and the rigid forms of classical music. Distracted from studies as a year 11 student, Callee dismissed her former goals of studying medicine - fighting against her teachers until the very last day of her Higher School Certificate studies in 2004.

"Life Like Liquid" is an exploration into the creative realms of surfing, sound creation and fluid living. Filmed from Dave Rastovich's unique perspective, the story loosely documents what happens when a group of sonically inclined surfers come together with no other intention than to ride sound waves, ocean waves and record the thrill of the ride.
Whaledreamers is the heartfelt story of the return of an aboriginal whale dreaming tribe from the edge of extinction and the equally, long journey of the whales, not only to survive the slaughter by man, but to engage the human race into waking up in time. The soundtrack includes music from Bunna Lawrie, Elcho Traditional, One Tribe Rainbow Choir, Stradbroke Traditional and more.
