First, Grace Knight took the Eurogliders pop band to chart topping success throughout the 80s, then she became Australia's number one selling Jazz Diva in the 90s In her early teens Grace began singing in folk clubs and competing in national talent quests. Anxious to spread her wings, she sang her passage on a cruise ship to Australia where her sister introduced her to musician Bernie Lynch. Grace honed her performing skills as Lynch shaped the band that was to become the "Eurogliders".
Diana Ah Naid spent much of her life on the road in Australia, traveling with her father and her two brothers after the death of her mother when she was eleven months old. The family earned money for food and shelter by performing in bars and on street corners, giving Ah Naid her basic training in performing from the age of seven onwards.
"Life Like Liquid" is an exploration into the creative realms of surfing, sound creation and fluid living. Filmed from Dave Rastovich's unique perspective, the story loosely documents what happens when a group of sonically inclined surfers come together with no other intention than to ride sound waves, ocean waves and record the thrill of the ride.
